Savon Noir - Black Soap
This soap is so different than my other soaps because it has a gel/paste texture rather than a bar form. When I tried it for the first time I quickly fell in love with this soap. It just works amazingly for the skin.
This Savon Noir is made with a mixture of pure olive oil and black olives that break apart during the saponification process which makes the soap look very dark. That’s why it is called Savon Noir – Black Soap. The entire process of making the Savon Noir takes hours of stirring and looking after it.
Savin Noir not only works as a soap but also as an exfoliant, which makes it even more awesome! It deeply cleanses the skin by removing the dead skin cells and making the skin soft. It is very high in vitamin E.
Weight: 130g or 240g
Characteristics: It has a very gentle smell which comes only from the ingredients used to make the soap.
Usage: with dry hands or a wooden spatula, scoop a small walnut sized amount of soap from the jar and apply directly to your wet skin with a bath mitt or sponge. You can leave it on for a couple of minutes, then massage the skin with the bath mitt or sponge using circular motions. Then wash off.
Savin Noir tip - You can also give a little spa treatment for your feet by first soaking them in a bucket of warm water and then cleanse with some Savon Noir. Your feet will thank you for this!
As the soap works also as an exfoliant, it is recommended to use it only 2-3 times a week.
Do not use on damaged skin and avoid eyes area.
Storage: After scooping the soap with dry hands or a wooden spatula, close the jar tightly. Make sure that water does not get inside the jar and keep in a dry cool place to help extend the shelf life.
Ingredients: olea europaea (olive) oil, aqua, olea europaea, potassium hydroxide.
